FYI— if they (the cops) were looking for the bombers of abortion clinics,
they WOULD most certainly (and HAVE) investigated & interrogated
fundamentalist christian groups. thats profiling and it does work. your
comparison is apples and oranges. it makes no sense.

Appearing on CBS’ Face the Nation Sunday morning, NYPD Police Commissioner
Ray Kelly told host Bob Schieffer that a federal judge’s ruling against
Stop and Frisk last week was an unfair indictment of NYPD officers given
the diversity of the force, and would make minority communities less
    safe…

Lets bring back the higher murder and violence rates, the city was so much
    better then.

The 4th amendment is clear stop and frisk is a clear violation. Let me
rephrase their argument “It is much safer to live in a police state”. The
only problem is YOU ARE LIVING IN A POLICE STATE!

Actually, it means that blacks are CONVICTED more than whites, you idiot.
It does NOT mean they commit more crimes.

Why not s&f people in line with proportion that their group represents in
the crime stats. This would over time be an emoliating (if not
    self-correcting) system.

I’ll go a step further. The NYPD PBA did not want to allow hair follicle
testing in negotiations for random drug screening. As Police they should be
setting the example, instead they realize that would nail a large
percentage of cops, so no go!

Although I don’t agree with racial profiling or Stop and Frisk, your facts
in this video are very wrong. You said at one point that African Americans
commit a low percentage of crimes compared to their population, which is
wrong, according to statistics. African Americans make up 13% of the
national population yet make up over 85% of prisons, meaning they commit
MORE crimes, a A LOT, more actually. Now that doesn’t mean they all should
be racially profiled, but please state facts, not opinions

Bill ‘Reilly needs to be stopped and frisked everytime he leaves his house.
Then he can decide that it’s no big deal.

The use of drugs is not the only crime in the US, you do realize? Look, I’m
not saying that every single African American is a criminal. But compared
to the rest of the population, a huge percentage of them are. Does that
justify Stop and Frisk? of course not! You can’t say that Stop and Frisk
(which has been proven to be ineffective) is the reason why blacks are in
jail. There are more blacks on welfare than whites, so I do believe poverty
is a big issue that makes them tend to crimes.

You are correct in the first part of your statement “African Americans make
up 13% of the national population yet make up over 85% of prisons”. This is
correct, however statistics show that white and African American citizens
use drugs at an even rate. The first statistic you used, the percentage of
population in prisons, is then proven to be due to racially charged
projects such as the stop and frisk program in question here.

O’Reilly and Bloomberg want to imprison every black guy in US.
