2017 LA Auto Show: 2018 Jeep Wrangler | Consumer Reports

The Jeep Wrangler has been a favorite among CR subscribers, despite its lackluster performance in our road tests. The classic SUV gets a 2018 redesign with a retuned suspension, new powertrain and interior refinement.

The 2018 Nissan Kicks is a more contemporary replacement for the polarizing Juke. Included in the updated styling is a 7-inch touchscreen, more mature styling and added cargo space.

I love my Wrangler Rubicon. I use it as my weekend car to go off roading in the mountains or to the beach. Or camping in the woods I’ll never get rid of it. My daily driver is a boring Toyota.

    Start stop is so asinine

Unreliable POS death trap from Fiat

  5. Mike C says:

This is what is killing Legacy automotive car co. It’s almost 2018 and AEB should be standard.

  6. Don Bement says:

ITS A JEEP. You DO NOT buy a Jeep for its fuel economy, highway manners or stupid ass electric gizmo crap. If you want that crap go buy a pos Prius… Apparently people have forgot what a Jeep is supposed to be used for.

  7. paul lamont says:

    Jeeps rock.

  8. God Speed 913 says:

This thing better ride better then the previous wrangler. Horrible vehicle to drive on the street. I can’t see why anybody would want one

  9. Brian Russ says:

Stop making the wrangler a normal people car. It’s suppose to be for off-roading and bombing through the desert.

  10. Gregarious Solitudinist says:

The Jeep Wrangler was the only TRUE SUV in the entire category. The other entries should have become more like the Wrangler. IDIOTS!!!! Soft touch surfaces? Pussies!!!

  11. Joe Smith says:

I hope a lot of these things are options,I had a base Rubicon and it was just what I needed, so I'll keep my fingers crossed!!

  12. Joe Smith says:

  13. pedro fernandez says:

  14. Tim H. says:

  17. Warner Bauer says:

Wranglers are the only true sports car when you think about it.

  18. Kitty Cat says:

    1:25 You're an idiot. That crap is not needed ! ! !
    Learn how to drive
Get rid of all the electronic yuppy bullshit
Make it tough, simple and reliable for off road

  19. Joey Love says:

Start stop killed it for me.

  20. Collin says:

No diesel no care. Still trying to sell you a $40k V6

  21. Ram Dutt Tiwari says:

Exteriors is superb, why not interior color beige ? with black color it's looking very disappointed, horrible and ugly, why Nissan doing like this, even in cheaper car sunny, Tida interior color so good and cool, Awake Nissan before buyers chose other brands.

I have a relative that has been a high volume salesman for Nissan for over 20 years. He has won many awards from the company but finally has decided to move to a different car brand that is actually paying him much less than when he made with Nissan cuz he said he could no longer sell these awful pieces of crap in good conscious any longer. He said The Darkest Day for Nissan was when they merged with rhino and have never been the same since. Judging by their most recent reliability records with Consumer Reports I think he's got a point. LOL my sister is on her third CVT transmission in her 2016 Pathfinder and my husband who is a buyer for one of the major rental car companies was told they would no longer purchase Nissan Centras versus Pathfinders or Ultimus due to they're bad reliability histories. Too many of the customers are getting stranded buy the pieces of crap causing the potential for lawsuits. The last time this particular rental car company forbid the buyers from purchasing a car was the last generation Chrysler 200 and Dodge Dart which have since been dropped from Chrysler's lineup. It's too bad that an older Altima Centra and especially Pathfinder is still far more reliable today then the turds they pinch out now. Thank God for my Toyota!

  23. Mo Mehio says:

Say what you will about the Juke and its styling but it at least did its job very well as an owner's car. It got decent power, acceptable fuel economy (although on premium with a tiny tank), gave AWD to those who needed it, could free up decent space with rear seats down, was a breeze to drive with in traffic, was japanese built, and was very reliable (for me at least). Oh, and it didn't have drum brakes and came standard with alloy rims. It was actually a good value for a car starting at $20,000. And I think that's why Nissan concocted the Kicks, because they knew the Juke was a good value.

  24. raghuveer c says:

    Where is the armrest?

  25. banstaman says:

What's happening with/at Nissan? All their cars are cheap, boring, and unreliable and they aren't coming out with good products. They're making plenty of money from Pathfinder and Rogues alone, so why aren't they developing competitive products?

  26. E M1 says:

Nissan won't kill the Juke and the Kicks isn't its replacement.

  27. Akhil Bolla says:

    Poor Juke

  28. pedro fernandez says:

Made in Mexico, btw if anyone cares!

  29. a h says:

Miss their early 90s bulletproof engine cars, if only they had rustproof bodies to match

  30. Christopher Brown says:

If it is only available in front-wheel drive and has a ground clearance that is barely more than that of a car we really shouldn't be calling this an SUV. This is a hatchback.

  31. colderbeer says:

Hey folks, nobody is forcing any of you to buy this, unlike the dictator-like federal gov. who FORCES YOU to buy health insurance. I like the idea of a more affordable car like the KICKS…..

  32. sunny money says:

18 thousand dollars for 125 horsepower & drum brakes what is Nissan smoking ?

  33. Daniel Garza says:

    Pile of shit Nissan

  34. Unknown Traveller says:

Sounds like another underdone Nissan offering

  35. Rafael Garcia says:

Looks really nice but 125hp can't even get the thing to highway speeds

  36. rabit818 says:

    Volvo XC 40 esque

  37. Right Lane Hog says:

Two tone paint schemes are back in a big way.

  38. Super Smelly Bob says:

Holy Shit, my 2005 dodge neon sxt has 135 hp. This thing really aims for efficiency..

  39. KevX1127 says:

    drum breaks……….WTF

  40. Kyle houlihan says:

Ugggh drum brakes are a nightmare to work on. I have it on my current car and my next car cannot have drum brakes.
