I was in second grade when Dad bought the identical car for Mother to drive while he took his 1922 Dodge Business Coupe on out of state trips. After he tried out the Model A, he liked it so well that the Dodge stayed home and he traveled in the Ford. Sometimes Mother had to start the Dodge by coasting down hill.
I recall that we made family trips from Minneapolis to Philadelphia–including 2 trips to the Chicago Worlds Fair.
